Our thoughts when we started this restaurant were to earn a great reputation for excellent food, friendly service and an enjoyable dining experience. As soon as guests come to the river, our charming hosts and hostesses will greet them. In front of a beautiful view of the Sacramento River. The proprietors of Bridges on the River were inspired by this old custom created home and hospitable place where friends could meet to eat, drink and delight in the views of Sacramento River. This was a beautiful custom home built in 1954 and is located on 1.6 acres. The beams in the grand room were hand carved of solid redwood. In 1998 this was the dream of Henry Moreno to be a Mexican restaurant. He disappeared as trying to finalize the construction of the restaurant and has not been found.
